Secondary glazing
A second layer of glazing on the inside of the existing windows, surveyed and fitted by our service team.
What it is
Secondary glazing is a second layer of glazing, fitted on the inside of the windows you already have. We have installed a number of secondary glazing systems in commercial and domestic properties in Wolverhampton and the West Midlands.
What it can do
Secondary glazing can reduce heat loss, cut the sound that passes through a window and improve how a building looks.
How we fit it
Our service team surveys each property first, then completes the installation. The same approach applies to a house and to an office building.
At the start of each job we assign a Glazing Manager, who scopes the work and agrees the schedule and the price with you.
When you telephone, tell us the address, which windows you have in mind and what you hope to change, such as heat loss or noise.
We are CHAS accredited, and our glaziers are DBS checked and first aid trained. They are supported by an experienced supply chain, and our staff are trained to reduce waste on site.
To arrange a survey, telephone 01902 296505.
We recently had secondary glazing installed by J Edwards Glass. We are really pleased with the service from start to finish. The team were very prompt to arrange an initial inspection and efficient with quoting, which was competitive. The communication throughout was excellent and the installation was professional. The team are real craftsmen and left the areas clean and tidy. We are really pleased with the end result which we feel was great value and would not hesitate to recommend this company.
